For over 30 years, seniors studying Industrial Engineering at Kansas State have had the opportunity to participate in MSDA as their senior design project. The purpose of the class is to apply the engineering skills learned over the past three years to a create a manufacturing system as students. Students learn the whole product process from designing and prototyping, to facility layout and design, to the actual machining of product and finally distribution of the final product.
